Big A Demolition was tasked with removing the diving towers from Hitchcock Pool in South Omaha on behalf of Omaha Parks and Recreation.

The pool has sat in South Omaha for almost 50 years with the diving towers open for the majority of that time. However, safety regulation changes within the last 10 years meant the city was forced to close the high dive.

Now that the demolition has taken place, the city will be able to implement upgrades and changes to the pool's infrastructure and safety features so that it can get back to servicing the community for years to come.
